Ferry Aid è un gruppo musicale di cantanti britannici famosi, che nel 1987 si riunirono per incidere una cover del brano Let It Be dei Beatles, i cui proventi erano destinati ai parenti delle vittime di un disastro del mare avvenuto a Zeebrugee (Belgio), sulla scia di altre operazioni canore benefiche degli anni ottanta (Do They Know It's Christmas? cantata dalla Band Aid nel 1984 e We Are the World cantata dagli USA for Africa nel 1985).

All'incisione ha preso parte anche Paul Mc Cartney, autore della canzone nel 1969, che ha cantato i versi iniziali mantenendo il frammento della versione edita, mentre l'arrangiamento è stato modificato, inserendo sonorità più rock.

Ferry Aid was a British-American charity supergroup, brought together to record the song "Let It Be" in 1987. The single was released following the Zeebrugge Disaster; on 6 March 1987 the ferry MS Herald of Free Enterprise had capsized, killing 193 passengers and crew. All proceeds from sales of the single were donated to the charity set up in the aftermath of the disaster. The recording was organised by The Sun newspaper, after it had sold cheap tickets for the ferry on that day.[1] "Let It Be" was written by Paul McCartney and originally recorded by The Beatles in 1969.
