Storia del gruppo

Formatosi nel 2009, il gruppo ha ottenuto un contratto discografico con la Velocity Records (etichetta sussidiaria della Rise Records) ancora prima di esibirsi nel suo primo concerto ufficiale. L'album di debutto, Number(s), viene pubblicato il 31 agosto 2010, ed entra alla posizione numero 16 della Top Heatseekers di Billboard. Il secondo album Genesi[s], uscito il 20 novembre 2012, arriva al 167º posto della Billboard 200. A quest'album fa seguito la pubblicazione dell'EP American Dream, prodotto da Tom Denney e uscito nel 2013[4]. Nonostante avessero annunciato di voler entrare in studio in ottobre per registrare un nuovo album sempre con Denney[4], nel settembre 2013 arriva la notizia che gli Woe, Is Me si sono ufficialmente sciolti, dopo essersi trovati nuovamente senza cantante dopo l'abbandono della formazione da parte di Hance Alligood.[1][2]

Woe, Is Me is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 2009, the band is signed to Rise Records and its subsidiary, Velocity Records. Their debut album, Numbers, was released on August 31, 2010, and charted at number 16 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. Due to perpetual conflicts within the lineup the band suffered several lineup changes during its four-year run. The only original member who remained in the band through its lifespan was guitarist Kevin Hanson. Woe, Is Me officially broke up in September 2013. They announced their reunion in July of 2022 with the Vengeance lineup and played their first show in over 9 years in Dallas, Texas on October 29th, 2022.
