Jeff Pezzati est un musicien de punk rock américain.

Il commence sa carrière à Chicago en tant que chanteur et leader du groupe de punk rock Naked Raygun[1]. Steve Albini, grand amateur de ce groupe, le convainc de le rejoindre en tant que bassiste dans son groupe Big Black, avec lequel il participera à l'enregistrement de plusieurs maxis[2]^,[3], avant d'être remplacé par Dave Riley.

Plus récemment, il a joué dans le groupe The Bomb[4] et a également joué dans le documentaire What Poor Gods We Do Make: The Story and Music Behind Naked Raygun consacré à Naked Raygun ainsi que dans You Weren't There: A History of Chicago Punk 1977 to 1984[5].

Jeffrey Neal "Jeff" Pezzati (born February 6, 1960) is the lead singer of the Chicago punk band Naked Raygun.[1] From 1983 to 1985, he also played bass for the band Big Black.[2] In 1980 Pezzati was asked to audition for Naked Raygun (then known as Negro Commando). Pezzati passed the audition and became the band's longest-running member. The band has been credited by Dave Grohl of Nirvana/ Foo Fighters fame for inspiring the then 13 year old Grohl to get into punk music. The band has also been credited with being the ones responsible for Riot Fest being as large as it is. This occurred when the band introduced Mike Petrician to Sean McKeough (of Cobra lounge fame) RIP.
