Scott Ian Rosenfeld (né le 31 décembre 1963) est le guitariste du groupe de thrash metal américain Anthrax. Il utilise Scott Ian comme nom de scène. Il est également le créateur du groupe crossover thrash Stormtroopers of Death ainsi que le guitariste rythmique du groupe Damnocracy. Il est connu pour sa longue barbiche et ses prestations scéniques énergiques.

Récemment, Scott Ian est apparu sur l'album Feel the Steel du groupe phénomène d'Hollywood Steel Panther. Il a également créé le groupe The Damned Things avec deux membres des Fall Out Boy. Il joue avec Mr. Bungle.

Scott Ian (born Scott Ian Rosenfeld,[1] December 31, 1963) is an American musician, best known as the rhythm guitarist and co-founder of the thrash metal band Anthrax.[2] Ian is the guitarist and a founding member of the crossover thrash band Stormtroopers of Death for which he is also the lyricist. He has hosted The Rock Show on VH1 and has appeared on VH1's I Love the... series, Heavy: The Story of Metal, and SuperGroup. Ian is also the rhythm guitarist for the metal band the Damned Things, and played with experimental band Mr. Bungle for seven reunion shows in 2020.
