Tom Johnston, né Charles Thomas Johnston le 15 août 1948 à Visalia, est un musicien américain. Guitariste, auteur-compositeur et chanteur, il est cofondateur du groupe The Doobie Brothers. Il a joué par intermittence avec les Doobie Brothers pendant plus de 50 ans, dans plusieurs styles. Il a été intronisé au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame en tant que membre des Doobie Brothers en 2020[1].

He is a guitarist and vocalist, known principally as a founder, guitarist, lead vocalist and songwriter for the rock group The Doobie Brothers, as well as for his own solo career. He has played off and on with The Doobie Brothers for 50 years, in several styles. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Doobie Brothers in 2020.[2]
