Biografia

È noto per aver fatto parte dei seguenti gruppi: The Koobas, The Boxer, Juicy Lucy, Iron Butterfly e Van der Graaf Generator. Morì nel 1978, a causa di un infarto miocardico acuto, durante una tournée in Germania, mentre era in tour con gli Iron Butterfly; dopo la sua morte, Peter Hammill (cantante dei Van der Graaf Generator) gli dedicò una canzone, Not for Keith, inclusa nell'album del cantante, pH7.[1]

Keith Ian Ellis (19 March 1946 – 12 December 1978), was an English bass player. He was born in Matlock, Derbyshire.[1] He is known for his associations with The Koobas, The Misunderstood and Juicy Lucy. He was also a member of Van der Graaf Generator from 1968 to 1969.[2] Ellis worked with Mike Patto and Ollie Halsall's band Boxer from 1975 until late 1976 when the original line-up split.[3]
