Life
He lived with Pauline Kael in Berkeley, California.[3][4]
He was part of the "Activist" group.[5][6]
He was friends with Gian Carlo Menotti, and Samuel Barber, staying with them at "The Capricorn", at Mount Kisco, New York.[7][8][9][10]
His work appeared in Harper's,[11] Poetry,[12] and Kenyon Review.
