Carriera

Nel gennaio 2013 ha pubblicato il singolo d'esordio From Afar. Nel marzo seguente è uscito il primo EP, con il brano Riptide che ha ottenuto successo in Australia, Europa e Nord America

Nel luglio 2014 è stato annunciato l'album d'esordio Dream Your Life Away, pubblicato poi nel settembre dello stesso anno: entrerà nella "top 20" delle classifiche britanniche e statunitensi (#20 nella Official Albums Chart e #17 nella Billboard 200).[1][2]

Si è esibito come artista di supporto durante il The 1989 World Tour di Taylor Swift nei mesi finali del 2014.

Nel maggio 2021 ha esordito con il suo nuovo singolo Missing Piece, in uscita con l'omonimo album.

James Gabriel Keogh (born 1 December 1987),[2][3] known professionally as Vance Joy, is an Australian singer and songwriter and former Australian Rules Footballer. He signed a five-album deal with Atlantic Records in 2013.[4] He released his debut EP God Loves You When You're Dancing in March 2013. His song "Riptide" was voted number 1 on the 2013 Triple J Hottest 100. Joy released his debut studio album Dream Your Life Away on 5 September 2014 in Australia and on 9 September 2014 elsewhere.[5][6] At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015, he won Best Male Artist. His second studio album, Nation of Two, was released in 2018. Vance Joy spent time in the Zac Brown Band as vocals.
