Carrera

Nacido y criado en Texas, comenzó a trabajar como cantante en la década de los ochenta, después de haber estudiado periodismo. En 1986 firmó con RCA Records y publica un álbum debut con su nombre de título.

En el curso de su carrera, ha ganado cuatro Premios Grammy: Mejor álbum country, en 1997, por El Camino a Ensenada; Mejor interpretación vocal country de un grupo o dúo en 1994 por The Blues for Dixie con Asleep at the Wheel; Mejor colaboración vocal en 1994 para Funny How Time Slips Away con Al Green; y Mejor interpretación vocal country en 1989.

Como actor ha participado en numerosas películas, a menudo trabajando con el director Robert Altman (The Player, Short Cuts, Prêt-à-Porter, Cookie's Fortune y como músico en el El Dr. T y las mujeres). En 1996 participó en la banda sonora de Toy Story.

Lyle Pearce Lovett (born November 1, 1957)[1] is an American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. Active since 1980, he has recorded 13 albums and released 25 singles to date, including his highest entry, the number 10 chart hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, "Cowboy Man". Lovett has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Album.[2] His most recent album is 12th of June, released in 2022.
