Son plus grand succès, Band of Gold (1970), s'est classé à la première place des ventes en Angleterre pendant six semaines et à la troisième place du Billboard Hot 100 aux États-Unis. Freda Charcilia Payne (born September 19, 1942[1][2][3][nb 1]) is an American singer and actress. Payne is best known for her career in music during the mid-1960s through the mid-1980s. Her most notable record is her 1970 hit single "Band of Gold".
