Jay Munly (également appelé Munly ou Munly Munly), né à Québec, est un musicien canadien. Il réside maintenant à Denver dans le Colorado aux États-Unis. Il est considéré comme l'un des musiciens les plus importants du Denver Sound, musique rattachée au mouvement country alternative/gothabilly qui mêle le rock, la country, un son gothique, et le gospel. Il est membre du Slim Cessna's Auto Club ainsi que le leader de son propre groupe Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots. En juillet 2006, Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots a été élu comme le meilleur groupe du Colorado par le journal The Denver Post[1].

Jayson Thompson,[4] who goes by the stage name Jay Munly or Munly, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and author based in Denver, Colorado. He is known for his role in the development of the Denver Sound, which is music that mixes elements of country, gothic, folk and gospel native to that city. He is a member of Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Munly and the Lupercalians, and The Denver Broncos UK (DBUK). He was a founding member of Munly and the Lee Lewis Harlots, active from 2000 to 2007. He was also a member of The Road Home in 2015.
