Marshall Crenshaw (né le 11 novembre 1953 à Détroit (Michigan)[1]) est un musicien, chanteur et auteur américain. Il a connu le succès notamment grâce à sa chanson Someday, Someway et par la reprise de ses chansons par d'autres chanteurs, comme My Favourite Waste of Time (en) par Owen Paul (en). Il a également été acteur (Peggy Sue Got Married, La Bamba) et critique musical (Hollywood Rock: A Guide to Rock 'n' Roll in the Movies)[1].

En 2013, Marshall retrouve son jeune ami Viktor Huganet en France, enregistre quelques chansons en studio et se produit en concert à Paris[2].

Marshall Howard Crenshaw (born November 11, 1953) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known for hit songs such as "Someday, Someway," a US top 40 hit in 1982, "Cynical Girl," and "Whenever You're on My Mind." He is also the co-author of one of the biggest radio hits of the ‘90s, the Gin Blossoms, "Til I Hear It from You." His music has roots in classic soul music and Buddy Holly, to whom Crenshaw was often compared in the early days of his career, and whom he portrayed in the 1987 film La Bamba.
