Biografia

Kari Rueslåtten ha avviato la sua carriera musicale nei primi anni '90 cantando nei gruppi metal The 3rd and the Mortal, Israelvis e Storm. Nel 1997 è uscito Spindelsinn, il suo album di debutto come solista, che ha raggiunto la 29ª posizione nella classifica norvegese,[1] vendendo 5 000 copie a livello nazionale in meno di un anno.[2] Il disco ha fruttato alla cantante una candidatura ai premi Spellemann, il principale riconoscimento musicale norvegese, per l'artista pop dell'anno.[3] Da allora ha proseguito a cantare come solista, pubblicando sette nuovi album d'inediti.

Kari Rueslåtten (born 3 October 1973) is a Norwegian soprano singer, songwriter and keyboardist, who was well known for being the former lead singer and songwriter for the now disbanded Norwegian doom metal/experimental band, The 3rd and the Mortal from 1992 to 1994. The 3rd and the Mortal was one of the early bands that used a lead female singer in the metal scene, in which inspired bands such as The Gathering, Flowing Tears and Nightwish.
