Biografia

Dopo aver vinto il talent show You Can Be a Star nel 1988,[1] Lari White ha raggiunto notorietà con la pubblicazione del disco Wishes, certificato disco d'oro.[2] Nel 1988 il brano Stepping Stone ha esordito alla 73ª posizione della Billboard Hot 100.[3]

Morte

Nel settembre 2017 le venne diagnosticato un tumore, che un successivo intervento esplorativo rivelò essere carcinosi peritoneale. Morì a Nashville, Tennessee, all'età di 52 anni. Il marito Chuck Cannon rimase solo con tre figli.[4]

Lari Michele White Cannon (/ˈlɑːri/, LAH-ree;[2] May 13, 1965 – January 23, 2018) was an American country music singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. She made her debut in 1988 after winning You Can Be a Star, a televised talent competition on The Nashville Network. After an unsuccessful stint on Capitol Records Nashville, she signed to RCA Records Nashville in 1993.
