Biografia

Zowie ha iniziato a ricevere popolarità aprendo i concerti di Katy Perry, Mark Ronson, The Kills e Peaches.[1] Il suo singolo di debutto, Broken Machine, è stato pubblicato nel 2010 ed ha raggiunto la 10ª posizione nella classifica neozelandese, paese nel quale è stato certificato disco d'oro.[2][3] A maggio 2012 è uscito il suo album di debutto Love Demolition, che si è piazzato in 31ª posizione in madrepatria.[2] Nel medesimo anno ha contribuito al singolo di beneficenza Feel Inside (And Stuff Like That) dei Flight of the Conchords, che è giunto in vetta alla classifica neozelandese.[4]

Zoe Fleury,[1] better known by her stage name Zowie, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. Zowie has toured with artists Katy Perry, Mark Ronson, The Kills[2] and Peaches[1] under the name Bionic Pixie. She later changed her name to Zowie, and released her debut single "Broken Machine", which entered the Top 10 in New Zealand. Her debut album, Love Demolition, peaked at number 31 on the New Zealand Top 40 Album chart. Fleury is also one half of the duo 'The Bengal Lights', playing the drums.
