Hard to Believe – A Kiss Covers Compilation ist der Titel eines 1990 veröffentlichten Kompilationsalbums, das ausschließlich Coverversionen von Liedern der US-amerikanischen Hardrock-Band Kiss enthält. Die auf dem Album enthaltenen Songs wurden zwischen 1980 und 1990 von Bands aufgenommen, die zu dieser Zeit noch der US-amerikanischen Undergroundszene angehörten. Von diesen Band erlangten später Nirvana und die Melvins größere Bekanntheit und kommerziellen Erfolg.

Hard to Believe: A Kiss Covers Compilation is a Kiss tribute album with all of the tracks performed by (at the time) underground, independent, punk bands of the late 1980s. The two bands featured on this album that would continue on to greater success are Nirvana and Melvins, though Doug Martsch of Treepeople later founded Built To Spill. This is one of two released Nirvana recordings with Jason Everman on guitar.[1]
