All Shall Fall is the eighth studio album by Norwegian black metal band Immortal. The album was released in Europe on 25 September 2009 and in the US on 6 October 2009. It is the only album to feature bassist Apollyon and the last to feature vocalist/guitarist Abbath Doom Occulta.

Recording and production


In January 2008, Immortal started rehearsing and writing new material for their 8th studio album.[7] After spending much time performing live that year, the band entered both Grieghallen and Abyss studios in April 2009 to start recording the album.[8] A month later the band already completed recording the album and announced the album's title.[9] In June, Terrorizer was given the opportunity to listen to the just-recorded album and posted an exclusive track-by-track breakdown.[10]

All Shall Fall es el octavo álbum de estudio de la banda noruega de black metal Immortal, publicado el 25 de septiembre en Europa y el 6 de octubre de 2009 en Norteamérica a través de la discográfica alemana Nuclear Blast. Este disco fue el primer trabajo del grupo tras su reunión en 2007 y supuso el debut del bajista Apollyon y la última grabación del vocalista y guitarrista Abbath con el conjunto. El álbum recibió en general buenas críticas y comparado a sus antecesores tuvo una buena recepción comercial en varios países europeos y logró posicionarse en el Billboard 200 estadounidense. La producción la realizó Peter Tägtgren, quien ya había participado con Immortal en trabajos anteriores, con la colaboración de la propia banda; por su parte, el guitarrista original Demonaz escribió todas las letras.
