Commercial performance


Carly Pearce debuted at No. 6 on Top Country Albums, with 4,900 copies sold the first week.[2] As of March 2020, the album has sold 6,800 copies,[3] and 83,000 in units consumed.[4]


Singles


The album's lead single, "Closer to You" was released on November 2, 2018.[5]

"I Hope You're Happy Now", a duet with fellow country singer Lee Brice, was released as Pearce's second single from the album on September 27, 2019.[6]


Promotional singles


Four promotional singles were issued prior to the album's release. "It Won't Always Be Like This" was released on December 6, 2019 along with the announcement of her album title and tracklist,[7] followed by "Call Me," "Heart's Going Out of Its Mind," and "You Kissed Me First" in January 2020.[8][9][10]
