It was released in the UK in 1973 by Warner Bros. Records. It reached number two in the UK charts in 1973, where it stayed for nine weeks on the chart and was the group's biggest hit in the UK.[2] AllMusic describes the song as "one of their best".[3] In the US, the song also was a moderate hit on the Hot 100.
