«Cornerstone» es el segundo sencillo del tercer álbum de Arctic Monkeys, Humbug. El sencillo fue publicado el 16 de noviembre de 2009. Como el anterior sencillo Crying Lightning, el vinilo está disponible en tiendas Oxfam.[2] Alex Turner contó a la revista Uncut que escribió esta canción, "una mañana, bastante deprisa." Además dijo: "Hay que decir algo sobre escribir por la mañana. En otros momentos del día estás con la guardia más alta.
