The lyrics "Whoops, there goes another year / Whoops, there goes another pint of beer" echo the "Oops, there goes another rubber tree plant... Oops, there goes a billion kilowatt dam" lyrics from the 1959 Frank Sinatra song "High Hopes" composed by Sammy Cahn and James Van Heusen.[citation needed]
