Hours was released on 13 June 2005. The album reached number 12 in the UK Albums Chart[4] and was their first album to appear on the US Billboard 200, reaching number 139.[5]

The album produced four singles: "Streetcar", "Monsters", "History" and "Roses for the Dead", all of which charted within the UK top 50.[4]

The album has been released in four versions: standard edition; special edition, with a bonus DVD containing interviews with the band and fans before the band's gig at the Give it a Name festival, and different cover; Japanese edition, with two bonus tracks; and limited Japanese edition with six bonus tracks.

Hours es el segundo álbum de estudio de Funeral For A Friend. Se grabó del 12 de enero al 8 de marzo de 2005 conjuntamente en Studio X y Studio Litho, Seattle. Fue lanzado al mercado en 14 de junio de 2005 por Atlantic Records, lo que supone el primer disco con la banda para la discográfica estadounidense propiedad de la Warner Music Group y el primer disco que FFAF lanza con un gran sello, tras su paso por Infectious y Ferret Music.
