music.wikisort.org - CompositionLately I Feel Everything (stylized as lately I feel EVERYTHING) is the fourth solo studio album by American singer Willow. It was released through MSFTSMusic, Roc Nation and Polydor Records on July 16, 2021.[4][5][6] A departure from the experimental alt-R&B sound of her early works and instead her pop-punk and indie rock debut,[7] it features guest appearances from Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne, Tierra Whack, Cherry Glazerr, and Ayla Tesler-Mabe.[8]

The album has spawned three singles, "Transparent Soul", "Lipstick", and "Gaslight", the first of which entered the top 40 in the United Kingdom,[9] Ireland,[10] and New Zealand,[11] as well as becoming Willow's first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 in a decade, where it peaked at number 76.[12]
Composition
Lately I Feel Everything, the fourth album by singer Willow, poses another wide musical leap for the musician. Where 2019's self-titled record leapt into psychedelic soul, Lately dives head on into alternative rock[13] and especially pop-punk sounds.[14][15][7][16][17] It has been described as having songs that are indie rock,[14] emo,[18] grunge,[19] nu metal, pop rock,[15] and power pop.[20]
Critical reception
In a mixed review, rating the album 6.6/10 Pitchfork wrote " lately I feel EVERYTHING ends up stuck between its intent and its effect." In a more positive review for The Line of Best Fit, Kate Crudgington wrote, "lately I feel EVERYTHING is a straight up lively hit of jaded emo bangers that will have a new generation of listeners whipping their hair back and forth."
