It was the band's last album for Lookout!.[5] Drummer Hugh O'Neill died of brain cancer about two months before the album was released.[1]
The album contains a hidden track, a cover of the Beach Boys song God Only Knows,[6] which is the bands fourth recorded cover of that band’s songs.
The Washington Post wrote that "the Queers have always kept it simple and stupid, but these demos reveal that they started with all the chops necessary for blitzkrieg boppers like 'I Hate Everything' and 'Nobody Likes Me.'"[7]
All tracks written by Joe Queer, except as noted.
