In June 2011, free downloads of "Live from Death Valley" were made available through Deathbomb Arc's Bandcamp page, with cover art for the single made by Mario Zoots.[1]
In November 2011, the two tracks were featured on the second half of Deathbomb Arc's "Singles Club" collection.[2]
In late August 2016, Deathbomb Arc issued cassettes for sale on their website,[3] stating that it had "been requested time and again to get some sort of physical release".
The track title "Fyrd Up" is in reference to MC Ride's previous group, Fyre.[original research?]
On June 27, 2022, Redditor u/Land-Of-The-Free-3 made a post on Death Grips' official Subreddit stating that Live from Death Valley would be released to streaming on July 11.[4]
On July 11, 2022, the two tracks were re-released on streaming services.[5]
