Critical reception
Andrew Duke of Exclaim! gave the album a favorable review, describing it as "an album that immediately becomes a must-have for the electronic music enthusiast."[2]
The Wire named Niun Niggung the record of the year in its annual critics' poll.[6] Spin placed it at number 16 on the "20 Best Albums of 2000" list.[7] NME named it the 33rd best album of 1999.[8]

Niun Niggung ist das sechste Musikalbum der deutschen Band Mouse on Mars und erschien 1999 bei Sonig und Rough Trade. Später wurde es auf dem US-amerikanischen Label Thrill Jockey wiederveröffentlicht. Die US-Version des Albums hat eine andere Tracklist und enthält drei Bonustracks. Zu den Gastmusikern des Albums gehört auch der Musiker Markus Türk.
