Strikes Back is a 1987 album by Héctor Lavoe.[1][2] The album was the only time Lavoe was nominated for a Grammy Award.[3]

Strikes Back (Contraataca) es el décimo y último álbum de estudio de Héctor Lavoe en su carrera como solista. Fue grabado en marzo de 1986 y lanzado en el año 1987 por el sello Fania Records; el productor de este trabajo musical fue Willie Colón. De aquí destacan temas como «Ponce», «Loco», «Escarcha», pero fue «Plato de segunda mesa» el que lo devolvió a las emisoras radiales a finales de 1986. Este álbum fue reconocido con una nominación a los Premios Grammy en el año 1988.
