Take It or Squeeze It is the fourth studio album by American hip hop duo The Beatnuts. It was released on March 20, 2001 and it was the first Beatnuts album to be released after Loud Records finished their merger with Relativity Records. It was critically well-received, but lacked commercial success.

Background


Being entirely produced by The Beatnuts, the album's production consisted of many samples, and features guest appearances on all but three tracks. Featured artists include Fatman Scoop, Method Man and former Beatnuts member Al' Tariq.


Reception


Reviews by Rolling Stone and Allmusic noted its enjoyable production,[4][5] yet Take It or Squeeze It only reached #51 on the Billboard 200. It had sold 152,000 copies in the United States as of November, 2001.[6] The album was released in conjunction with two singles, "Let's Git Doe" and the more popular "No Escapin' This". The album is now out of print.
