To Plant a Seed is the debut studio album by American metalcore band We Came as Romans. It was released by Equal Vision Records on November 3, 2009 and was produced by Joey Sturgis. Artwork for the album was done by Paul Romano to which coincides to We Came as Romans' positive message as explained by guitarist Joshua Moore that the lyrical themes on To Plant a Seed are based-up spreading this message.[1] A deluxe edition of the album was released on January 18, 2011 which includes one bonus track and a DVD entitled To Plant a DVD.[2]

To Plant a Seed ist das Debütalbum der US-amerikanischen Post-Hardcore-/Trancecore-Band We Came as Romans aus Troy, Michigan. Es erschien am 3. November 2009 via Redfield Records (Europa) und Equal Vision Records (weltweit). To Plant a Seed wurde von Joey Sturgis produziert. In diesem Album sind auch die beiden Titel „Dreams“ und „Intentions“ aus der 2008 in Eigenregie veröffentlichten Dreams EP, welche auch bereits von Sturgis produziert wurde, zu finden. Als Gastsänger ist Tyler Smith von The Word Alive im Stück „Intentions“ zu hören.
