Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid es el primer álbum de Collective Soul, banda de rock alternativo proveniente de Atlanta. En un principio el material fue lanzado por Rising Storm Records, un pequeño sello discográfico indie de Atlanta. Este primer lanzamiento incluía una canción adicional, una balada titulada "Beautiful World", la cual no formaría parte de la versión de Atlantic Records. El álbum le dio más atención a la banda, lo que hizo que Atlantic Records los tuviese en cuenta para firmar con ellos y relanzar el álbum en 1994 bajo este sello.

El título del álbum proviene de la letra de una canción de Paul Simon titulada "You Can Call Me Al" (1986).

En tirajes posteriores de la edición alemana la portada es diferente con una flor bordada sobre un lienzo de color azul.

Los sencillos difundidos fueron "Shine", "Breathe" y "Wasting Time"; "Shine" fue el que consiguió mayor éxito en los rankings, haciendo que Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid llegara al nº 15 en el "Billboard 200".

Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid is the debut studio album by the American rock band Collective Soul. It was originally released on an indie label in Atlanta called Rising Storm Records in 1993. The track "Shine" gained the band attention thanks to college radio. They later signed on with Atlantic Records and the album was released on CD in 1994 under the Atlantic label.
