Killing Technology est le troisième album studio du groupe de thrash metal Voivod sorti en 1987. La thématique de l'album est en partie inspirée de la catastrophe nucléaire de Tchernobyl et de l'accident de la navette spatiale Challenger, survenus tous deux en 1986.

Apparaissent sur cet album les premières touches progressives que Voivod explorera davantage sur les albums suivants, délaissant ses racines thrash.

Killing Technology ist das dritte Studioalbum der kanadischen Metal-Band Voivod. Es wurde im April 1987 von Noise Records veröffentlicht. Das Album ist das erste in der Geschichte der Band, auf dem sie Thrash Metal mit Einflüssen aus der Klassik und dem Progressive Rock verbindet. Das Musikmagazin Rock Hard führte es im Juni 2009 auf seiner Liste von 250 Thrash-Metal-Alben, die man kennen sollte.[1]

Killing Technology is the third studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Voivod. It was released in 1987 on Noise Records and was the first to combine elements of progressive rock in the band's thrash metal sound. According to interviews contemporary to the release of Killing Technology, by 1986 Voivod were more influenced by hardcore punk and crossover bands than by other metal bands, with only Kreator and Motörhead still appreciated by all band members.[citation needed] Estimated sales are more than 60,000 copies worldwide.
