Descrizione


Dopo aver registrato tutti i pezzi presso lo Chateau Marouatte in Francia, i Marillion tornarono in madrepatria alla ricerca dell'idea giusta per i testi. Il frontman Steve Hogarth rimase colpito da una storia ascoltata alla radio che riguardava una ragazza trovata in stato confusionale dalla polizia sul ponte Severn Bridge.[1] Tale fatto di cronaca ispirò i testi di tutto il disco, trasformandolo in un concept album.

Brave è diventato anche un cortometraggio low budget diretto da Richard Stanley, disponibile in DVD.

Brave (engl. für: Mutig) ist das siebte Studioalbum der britischen Progressive-Rock-Band Marillion. Es wurde im Februar 1994 veröffentlicht und ist das dritte Konzeptalbum Marillions. Zwischen 1997 und 1999 veröffentlichte EMI die unter ihrem Label entstandenen Marillion-Alben als 24-Bit Digital Remaster 2-Disc Version.
