Forth è il quarto album del gruppo britannico The Verve, pubblicato in gran parte del mondo il 25 agosto 2008[3], fatta eccezione per gli Stati Uniti ed il Giappone, dove è stato pubblicato rispettivamente il 26 agosto ed il 3 settembre[4]. È stato il primo album ad essere pubblicato dalla riunione della band avvenuta nel 2007 ed arriva dieci anni dopo Urban Hymns uscito nel 1997.

Il primo singolo dell'album, "Love is Noise", è stato trasmesso per la prima volta sul canale BBC Radio 1 il 23 giugno 2008 da Zane Lowe[5]. Una settimana dopo è stata pubblicata "Mover", una canzone non contenuta nel album e scaricabile gratuitamente. Per una settimana, a partire dal 19 agosto, è stato possibile ascoltare l'intero album sul MySpace della band.

Forth (Englisch für Voran) ist das vierte und letzte Studioalbum der Band The Verve. Es wurde am 25. August 2008 nach der Reunion der Band im Jahr zuvor veröffentlicht. Es erreichte Platz #1 der britischen Albumcharts und hatte mit Platz #10 die beste Albumplatzierung der Band in Deutschland überhaupt.

It was released internationally on 25 August 2008 on EMI and a day later in North America on the On Your Own label.[2] The band reformed in 2007, having broken up in 1999. Forth was their first album of new material since their 1997 album Urban Hymns and their first since 1995's A Northern Soul to feature the original line-up without second guitarist and keyboardist Simon Tong. It is also the second album to feature the Urban Hymns and Ashcroft's solo album producer Chris Potter.
