Heaven Shall Burn… When We Are Gathered ist das vierte Studioalbum der schwedischen Black-Metal-Band Marduk und das erste der Band mit dem neuen Sänger Legion. Der Titel wurde der Textzeile „Even the heavens shall burn when we are gathered“ aus dem Lied Dies Irae von Bathorys Album Blood Fire Death entlehnt.[3]

Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered is the fourth studio album by Swedish black metal band Marduk. It was recorded and mixed at The Abyss in January 1996 and released on July 1 that year by Osmose Productions. It was re-released in digipak format with bonus tracks on June 27, 2006. Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered is the first Marduk album to feature Legion, formerly of Ophthalamia, on vocals and Peter Tägtgren as mixer. This album marked a shift in style for what Marduk are popularly known for; hyper-blast blast beats and furious drum work, sheer brutality over melody (compared to previous releases), and raw vocals.[3]

Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered es el cuarto álbum de estudio de la banda sueca de black metal Marduk. Fue grabado y mezclado en los estudios The Abyss en enero de 1996 y lanzado el 1 de julio de ese mismo año a través de Osmose Productions. Fue re-lanzado en formato digipak con bonus incluidos el 27 de junio de 2006. Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered es el primer álbum de la banda en contar con Legion (ex Ophthalamia), en las voces y Peter Tägtgren como mezclador. Este álbum marcó un cambio en el estilo de Marduk ya que se torna un poco más popular y accesible, aunque conservando su ferocidad y agresividad lo cual se nota en su forma de tocar, la cual consiste en blast beats hiper veloces, su brutalidad característica (aunque adicionada con algunas partes melódicas) y una voz desgarradora por parte del vocalista Legion.
