The Art of the Trio è un album del pianista statunitense Sonny Clark, pubblicato dalla Blue Note Records. Si tratta di un album che raccoglie sia alternate takes di brani già pubblicati in precedenza nel disco del 1957 Sonny Clark Trio e di altri brani registrati il 16 novembre del 1958 negli studi di Rudy Van Gelder ad Hackensack nel New Jersey (Stati Uniti), l'album fu pubblicato solo nel 1980.
