Si tratta del primo album registrato con il cantante Craig Mabbitt, entrato nel gruppo in seguito alla dipartita di Ronnie Radke.

Promozione

Tra la fine del mese di agosto e il 2 settembre 2008, gli Escape the Fate pubblicarono sul proprio profilo Myspace un countdown relativo a una particolare iniziativa in cui il gruppo avrebbe pubblicato un brano inedito non appena 50.000 fan si fossero connessi contemporaneamente alla loro pagina di Buzznet.[3][4] Dopo circa 30 ore dalla partenza del progetto, il gruppo rese disponibile per il download gratuito il brano The Flood.[5] Questo brano è stato successivamente incluso nel videogioco Rock Band nel pacchetto "Warped Tour".[6]

Il 1º ottobre 2008 il gruppo pubblicò il videoclip del brano This War Is Ours (The Guillotine II).[7]
