Ultimo brano composto e registrato per l'album,[11] What I've Done invita a porsi un esame di coscienza su come si è comportato ciascuno di noi nei confronti del mondo, ovvero su ciò che ognuno di noi ha fatto.[12]

La demo originaria del brano, intitolata Bang Three, è stata inserita nell'EP Underground Eleven (2011).


Video musicale


Il video musicale, diretto dal DJ del gruppo Joe Hahn, pone grande attenzione agli avvenimenti che hanno ridotto il mondo così come è oggi mostrando scene che vanno tra la seconda guerra mondiale, la guerra fredda e la guerra del Golfo alternate a quelle del gruppo mentre esegue il brano in mezzo a un deserto. Alcuni spezzoni del video, come scene del traffico e l'esplosione del napalm, erano presenti anche nel video per Ready to Fall dei Rise Against.

What I’ve Done ist ein Song der US-amerikanischen Band Linkin Park. Er ist die erste Singleauskopplung aus dem dritten Studioalbum von Linkin Park, Minutes to Midnight. Mit über 3.500.000 verkauften Einheiten ist What I’ve Done die erfolgreichste Single von Linkin Park in den USA.[1] Die Demoaufnahme des Liedes, Bang Three, wurde am 16. November auf dem Fanclub-Album Underground 11 veröffentlicht. Zudem erschien der Song auf dem Soundtrack zum Film Transformers (2007), in dem ab kurz vor dem Abspann eine Version zu hören ist, die nach dem verlängerten Intro direkt in den Refrain mündet.

"What I've Done" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released as the first single from their third studio album, Minutes to Midnight (2007), and is the sixth track. The song was released as a radio single on April 1, 2007, as a digital download on April 2, and as a CD single on April 30. The live version of "What I've Done" from Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards, but did not win.[4] It serves as the end credits track of the 2007 science fiction film Transformers and also appears on Transformers: The Album (2007).[5] Being certified six times platinum by the RIAA, it is the band's most commercially successful single in terms of pure sales, and reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.
