"Youth of the Nation" is a song by American Christian metal band P.O.D. It was released on November 27, 2001, as the second single to come from their second major label album, Satellite. It was inspired in part by the school shootings at Santana High School and Columbine High School. "Youth of the Nation" was the band's only No. 1 hit on the Modern Rock chart and reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, their only single to reach the top 40, and No. 6 on the Mainstream Rock chart. The song was included in "Weird Al" Yankovic's polka medley "Angry White Boy Polka" from his 2003 album Poodle Hat, despite lead singer Sonny Sandoval's mixed-race background.

Fue lanzado el 25 de diciembre de 2001[1] como el segundo sencillo de su exitoso álbum Satellite. La canción fue compuesta el día de la masacre en la Escuela Secundaria de Santana en la ciudad de San Diego, de donde es lugar de origen del grupo.[2] Obtuvo la primera posición del Modern Rock Tracks[3] y logró el número 28 del Billboard Hot 100[4] siendo la mejor ubicación de la banda en dicha lista. Además ingresó en el top 10 de varios países de Europa incluyendo a Alemania, Noruega, Suecia y Dinamarca. Mientras en Australia fue certificado con el disco de oro.[5]
