Closterkeller is a Polish gothic rock band from Warsaw. It was formed in 1988 by Przemysław Guryń, Jacek Skirucha, and the vocalist Anja Orthodox. Despite many changes in the band's line-up it has created a characteristic sound. Orthodox is the only member of the original line-up, performing continuously for over 30 years. The band is called one of the forerunners of gothic and atmospheric rock in Poland.[3] They are also influenced by other music styles such as new and cold wave and even heavy metal. Many other groups like Delight, Moonlight or Artrosis said they took inspiration from Closterkeller.

Closterkeller ist eine polnische Dark-Rock-Band aus Warschau, die 1988 gegründet wurde. Von der ursprünglichen Besetzung ist nur noch Sängerin Anja Orthodox übrig, die zu den kontroversesten und charismatischsten Figuren der polnischen Musikszene zählt. Trotz über 20-jähriger wechselhafter Bandgeschichte und zahllosen Auftritten und Veröffentlichungen ist der Bekanntheitsgrad der Band nach wie vor fast ausschließlich auf Polen beschränkt.[1]

Closterkeller — польская рок-группа из Варшавы. Группу основали Przemysław Guryń, Jacek Skirucha, и Аня Ортодокс 1 января 1988 года. Несмотря на многочисленные изменения в составе, группа создала своё собственное характерное звучание, в том числе и благодаря голосу лидера группы, Ани, единственного участника группы из первого состава. Closterkeller считаются одними из пионеров на готической сцене Польши[4].
