Xhol Caravan, known first as Soul Caravan and later as Xhol, was one of the first bands to participate in the so-called Krautrock movement in Germany in the late 1960s. Their music draws from varied influences and fuses rhythm and blues and free jazz with a psychedelic rock sensibility.

Xhol Caravan est un groupe de rock allemand, originaire de Wiesbaden. Il est d’abord connu sous le nom Soul Caravan puis finalement sous le nom Xhol, et devient l’un des premiers groupes à participer au lancement du mouvement krautrock en Allemagne. Leur style musical mêle des genres variés qui la rend difficile à classer. Le groupe se sépare en 1972.
