Il 22 settembre 2008, la band ha confermato di aver firmato un contratto con la Visible Noise Records.[2] La band ha completato la registrazione dell'album di debutto tra il 16 novembre 2008 e il 13 gennaio 2009 agli Outhouse Studios di Reading.[2]

Il secondo album, Ignorance Never Dies, uscito nell'aprile 2009, li ha portati in un tour di tre settimane tra Europa e Regno Unito, insieme a Deez Nuts, More Than Life e Lower Than Atlantis.

Il 15 luglio 2009 gli Your Demise hanno annunciato che il cantante George Noble ha lasciato la band per ragioni personali, e verrà rimpiazzato da Ed McRae, ex frontman dei Centurion.

Ad agosto e a settembre 2009, gli Your Demise presero parte ad un tour mondiale in compagnia dei Misery Signals.

Nel 2010 hanno registrato The Kids We Used To Be, primo album con Ed alla voce.

Nel 2012 hanno registrato The Golden Age.

Your Demise war eine britische Hardcore-Punk-Band, deren Mitglieder in St Albans, Brighton und Salisbury wohnen. Ihr Album The Kids We Used To Be haben sie beim englischen Label Visible Noise Records aufgenommen. 2013 gab die Gruppe bekannt, sich nach einer Abschiedstournee aufzulösen. Im März 2014 soll die Gruppe ihre vier letzten Konzerte im Vereinigten Königreich spielen. Es existiert ebenfalls eine gleichnamige Melodic-Punk-Rock-Band aus Hobart, Australien.[1]

Your Demise are a British hardcore punk band from St Albans, England, formed in 2003. They shared stages and toured worldwide with the likes of Comeback Kid, Basement, Trapped Under Ice, Man Overboard, Enter Shikari, Parkway Drive, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon. On 22 September 2008, the band confirmed that they had signed a deal with Visible Noise. The band played their final gig at The London Underworld on 15 March 2014, after announcing in 2013 that they would be parting ways in March. They reunited for a one off benefit show for The Ghost Inside in 2015. They reunited again for the anniversary of The Kids We Used to Be but the shows were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation.
