Go Let It Out ist ein Lied der britischen Britpop-Rockband Oasis, das von Noel Gallagher verfasst wurde. Es war die erste Singleauskopplung ihres Albums Standing on the Shoulder of Giants und wurde noch vor dessen Erscheinen am 7. Februar 2000 veröffentlicht. In den britischen Charts erreichte es den ersten Platz.[2]

Der Inhalt des Liedes ähnelt dem 1995 erschienenen Lied Roll with It. Der Hörer wird direkt angesprochen und dazu aufgefordert, sich seinem Leben zu widmen und es selbst zu bestimmen.[Anm. 1] Das Lied beginnt mit einem Schlagzeug-Sample aus Johnny Jenkins Coverversion von Dr. Johns I Walk on Gilded Splinters.[3]

Ferner kann der Titel als Verweis auf eine Textstelle des Beatles-Liedes Hey Jude gedeutet werden, in der es heißt „so let it out and let it in“.[4][Anm. 2] In einem Interview beschrieb Noel Gallagher den Song Go Let It Out als ein modernes Lied der Beatles.[5]

"Go Let It Out" is a song by English rock band Oasis, written by the band's lead guitarist, and chief songwriter, Noel Gallagher. It was released on 7 February 2000 as the first single from their fourth studio album, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (2000), as well as their first following the departure of rhythm guitarist Bonehead and bassist Guigsy. The song peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart and was later certified Gold for sales and streams exceeding 400,000. It also reached number one in Ireland, Italy, and Spain, as well as on the Canadian Singles Chart.
