So Far Gone ist die erste EP des kanadischen Rappers Drake und wurde am 15. September 2009 veröffentlicht. Es basiert auf dem am 13. Februar 2009 veröffentlichten, gleichnamigen Mixtape. Die EP besteht aus fünf Songs, die auch auf dem Mixtape enthalten sind, und zwei neuen Songs. Es sind Gaststars wie Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Bun B, und Young Jeezy vertreten. Als Singles wurden Best I Ever Had und Successful veröffentlicht. So Far Gone gewann im April 2010 den Preis für den Rap Recording of the Year bei den Juno Awards.

Kommerzieller Erfolg

So Far Gone erreichte Platz 6 der Billboard 200 in den USA mit 73.000 verkauften Exemplaren.[1] In der zweiten Woche landete es auf Platz 9 mit insgesamt 109.000 verkauften Exemplaren.[2] So Far Gone wurde das fünftbestverkaufte Rapalbum 2009.[3] Im Februar 2012 hatte das Album bereits 639.000 Exemplare verkauft.[4] Am 4. Juli 2010 wurde So Far Gone von der Recording Industry Association of America mit Gold ausgezeichnet.[5]

So Far Gone is the debut extended play by Canadian rapper and singer Drake. It was released on September 15, 2009 by Cash Money Records, Universal Motown Records and Young Money Entertainment. This is his reissued project from his third mixtape that was released earlier on February 13, 2009. This EP features five tracks from the mixtape, with the inclusions of two new songs. The EP features guest appearances from Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Bun B and Young Jeezy. The EP was supported by three singles: "Best I Ever Had", "Successful" featuring Trey Songz and Lil Wayne, and "I'm Goin' In" featuring Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy.[1] In April 2010, the EP won the Rap Recording of the Year at the 2010 Juno Awards.
