The song was included on Roussos' 1973 album Forever and Ever, and later also on his 1976 EP The Roussos Phenomenon, which reached no.1 in the UK.
The song was written by Alec R. Costandinos and Stélios Vlavianós. The recording was produced by Demis Roussos.[1]
There is also a Spanish-language version, titled "Eternamente".[2]
The song reached no. 1 in Belgium (Flanders), Mexico,[3] and no. 2 in the Netherlands.[1]
