Head Off ist das siebte Studioalbum der schwedischen Rockmusik-Band The Hellacopters aus dem Jahr 2008.

Entstehung

Nach der Bekanntgabe, dass sich die Band auflösen werde, brachten The Hellacopters Head Off als letztes Album heraus. Es besteht vollständig aus Coverversionen von Songs anderer Bands, die The Hellacopters in ihrer 14-jährigen Karriere begleitet oder beeinflusst hatten. Dabei handelt es sich im Wesentlichen um skandinavische und US-amerikanische Rockbands.

Chips Kiesbye war erneut für dieses Album mit der Band als Musikproduzent tätig. Zudem ist er im Hintergrundgesang zu hören. Stefan Boman spielte Piano bei „Another Turn“.

Head Off is the seventh album released by the Swedish rock band The Hellacopters. The album consists of cover songs from acts that the band felt that everyone should know about and listen to. The 2,500 units of the vinyl release all come with a poster, an additional 1,500 units were later pressed which also contained the poster. A special CD box was also available in a limited run of 6,000 copies worldwide and consists of a special CD that contains all of the music on one side that can be played as a regular CD, on the other side the bonus track "Straight Until Morning" and a special pin and patch.

Head Off es el séptimo y último álbum de la banda sueca de rock The Hellacopters. Fue lanzado en el año 2008 con las compañías discográficas Wild Kingdom, Backstage Alliance, Toy's Factory y Shock Records. Se trata de un disco entero de versiones de otros grupos, excepto la versión japonesa de Toy's Factory, que incluye una canción original de la banda, "The Same Lame Story".
